HKT (Malaysia) used to be part of the Hong Kong Teakwood group many years ago.   In  2001,  the  group  was  broken  up  and  HKTM  was  sold  to  a  group  of investors. In 2013, the owners decided to cease operations and cleared off all its assets and liabilities and the company, was sold to one of its directors.  The new Company has retained its name and is still  operating  from  its  existing  industrial factory site at: 17 Miles stone, Main Road, Saleng, 81400 Senai, Johor, Malaysia. 

It  is now specialising in making  a wide range of wooden furniture covering  hospitality, bedroom, occasional,  student housing, customs  and kitchen pieces in varying degree of complexity, volume and media
